Important Scene Summary
An important scene in my novel would be went the Frank family went into hiding. The family woke up early on the morning of July 9 1942 had breakfast and left. They packed up all their belongings before, not too many things but things like clothes and any personnel belongings. They walked thought town with people giving them sad faces and sympathetic looks. When they arrived some people from Anne’s dad work where to help them. They settled and started adjusting to their new life, in hiding. A few people knew about their little secret, but other then that no one knew and they had to be quiet. The Frank family had to leave their home because the Germans could and take them away to a concentration camp and die. The family’s life in hiding changing just because of this day. Eventually Anne got taken any afar about 3 years.
My Overall Impression
My overall impression of this book is it’s a a great book that really shows you that this family had to go thought in hiding for 3 years. I enjoyed reading the novel but at times it was a bit boring, if Anne was talking about the arguments going on in the books. Other people who would enjoy this book would be a people who enjoy reading history novels. Or people who like reading about the history of people. I think that this people would like this book because this book is Anne Frank’s diary. It talks about her life and different experiences that she goes thought. Also in a persons diary the person will write about them self .
In my inquiry circle group we all a great time reading the book! Some parts of the book were funny others were sad but all in all my group Ashley,Anne ,Megan , Ryan and Matthew. we really enjoyed reading the novel. Our discussions help me understand the book so much better! Our interesting discussions lead to sometimes getting off topic but in the end my group could still lead it back toward the book. All in all my group enjoyed reading the book and learned a lot about Anne Frank!

Since the last time I posted about the Diary Of Anne Frank, a lot has happen. Anne has become more mature, what is is
writing about has changed. Before Anne would write about the fights everyone got into but now she is writing about herself and her emotions about different thing. The Van Daan’s have a son named Peter and Anne feels in love with him. They spend hours together talking a enjoying each others company. During this the Secret Annexe a few burglary have taken place. Thieves would con in the warehouse and everyone in the Secret Annexe would have to be very quite a recent burglary they were quite for 2 days!
Point Of View
In the book The Dairy of Anne Frank Anne Frank is the person telling the story. Anne is telling the story from her point of view. The book is told from first person it is Anne’s diary and the opinions are hers. For example, in the text Anne I can shake off everything if I write. This is Anne thought from mummy or daddy the whole book would be different.If the story was told from a different character’s point of view the whole story would be different. If this was Mrs.Van Daan’s diary the whole book would be so different, instead of all of Anne’s opinion on the people living in the Secret Annexe, Mrs.van Daan would most likely talk about everyone in a negative way. If Mr. Dussel was telling the story it would be all of his opinions and ideas about the secret annexe. Really it depends who is write the diary it would be different every time.
Main Character
The opinions of the main character in this novel are she really does have a strong bond with her mother, she can be positive about the war coming to an end, and her feeling about Peter are very strong. No I not really have anything in common with Anne Frank, maybe that if we were in war I would try to be positive and look forward to the end to the war! Anne frank has helped me get to know her thought her writing about events going on in her life in the Secret Annexe.

For history today I have to write a post about life in the late 19th century. I can be from a First Nation group, Metis or European. I have choose to be a Metis! In the late 19th century the Metis hunted and gathered for their food. Much different then people of our time, we may think that it is so hard to walk to the store to get supper. But imagine having to work all day just to to get supper and have to do it day after day. The Metis had developed a distinct culture with the people of Ontario! Which is good for the Metis to know that others know who we are.

Summary
I have read Anne Frank’s diary from June 14 1942 to April 27 1943. During this time, she has went into hiding. At the beginning she lived in home with just she family but now she has been in hiding with her family and the Van Daan and man named Albert Dussel. The eight of them are living a warehouse in the attic. During the days they have to be very quite because people downstairs may hear them. So they have to whisper and do quite activities. In the evening they don’t have to be as quite but it need to be dark so other wouldn’t see them up in that room. Mr.Dussel is a dentist. So he works in there home.

The author (Anne Frank) told me about the character thought the words that she uses or she speech. Anne uses very descriptive language. Anne uses very flowery language. I think this is because she reads so many books. When you read books then you have better vocabulary. Also Anne told me about the characters thought Anne thought what others say others say about she during meals.
An Important Event
An event that I think is important is went the family moved into hiding. Not long after the book began the family had to go into hiding. That morning the family woke up very early in the morning, had breakfast and left!They were wearing Margot Anne’s sister rode her bike to the warehouse. They settled in and that is now where they live. The author wrote this as an event in the book because without it Anne Frank and her family most likely would have been captured by soldiers a lot soon. Also the author wrote had this event happen because it did. this is Anne Frank’s diary, she wrote all about her life and this is part of her life. If I was a character in the book I would have reacted in a way that I would have went with what others were doing. Since Anne and her family were moving, I would have went along with them . Also I would have do it to keep myself safe and alive.
Prediction
I think that Anne and her family are going have more disagreements. Maybe Mrs.Van Daan will start to like Anne and become become friends!

Words that I use a lot in my essay are responsibilities, God, Catholic for my essay. Since my essay was are being a Catholic in a free society this words make sense. It’s your birthday! Well my birthday is coming and I’m very excited! On May 22 I will be turn 14, what an exciting day it will be. On your birthday most people have cake. But I like to have cupcakes. YUM! In my family when your comes you get to pick a special supper, so you have have your favourite meal. I always pick tacos and this year it will be no different! And if your birthday is coming Happy Birthday!
